Tips When Doing Lower Stomach Exercises

lower-stomach.jpgWhen performing any kind of exercise, it must be done right, or else it can result in injuries. Many people like to cheat on themselves, doing exercise after exercise just to finish them off without focusing on what is really important: form.

These tips will help you achieve a better form and get the most out of your lower stomach exercise routine.

Stop if you feel pain in the lower back. You know what they say: No pain, no gain. However don’t mess with your back. You’re supposed to be working your lower abs! If you feel pain in the back STOP. You are either doing it wrong, or performing an exercise that you can’t – at the moment – handle.

Focus on your lower abs. You should feel your lower abs working. If you feel other muscles stressed, it is a clear sign that you are doing it all wrong. Get some help form a professional trainer to help you achieve perfect form.

Do your exercises slowly. So many people live doing hundreds of reps rapidly. This is wrong! The key to a successful routine is patience and control. Patience to do your exercises at a slow pace. And control to avoid using momentum to perform the movement.

It’s not about 1000 reps. Do your lower stomach exercises the right way, and you’ll have no need of doing risky 1000 repetitions. A slow, controlled movement is the fast way ripped abs.

Breath the right way. Breathing is a key component in any physical activity, so learn how to do it the right way. When you need your stomach to fully contract, let all the air out, because if you still have air, you won’t let your muscles contracts to the maximum.

Remember these tips. Write them down on a card and don’t ever forget them. Just knowing these tips will put you ahead of 80% of people doing abs routines.

speed is something that i find difficult to control. the urge to move to heavier weights and move across the exercise is a lot at times. this would explain my love handles.

I’m in pretty fair shape but I’ve always found it challenging to control my overall workout speed and the urge to wanna hit the heavy weights never leaves. Ultimately you just have to force yourself.
