There are some things you can change like how hard you work out or what stomach exercises you do, but there are some things that are very difficult to change. These include our preferred daily habits. We can change some things temporarily, but more often than not, we just go right back into our old ways because that was what we felt comfortable with in the first place. This is why most diets fail. Sure, we can restrict our eating for a time, but eventually the hunger catches up with us and we start eating normally again.
If you want to find an exercise program to build muscle and lose fat, you need to find one that you can relate to. Ask yourself if you are honestly the type of person who will go through with a program in the long run.
I always hoped that one day I would find a program that I would actually want to stick with. I read numerous fitness books and at first I was really excited. Then, after actually sticking with the programs for a few weeks, I discovered the truth. The programs did not match my natural comfort zone. I felt burned out, tired, sore, and I lost all my motivation to work out. If you enjoy doing something, you will be more likely to stick with it in the long term.
When starting any exercise program, it would be a good idea to research medical insurance plans. You want to make sure you are covered in case anything was to happen.
