Along with exercises, these fat burning foods or diet foods can give you an extra boost towards your weight loss goal.
Don’t even think about trying fad fat burning diets, a healthy diet plan should include all the food groups. Remember to add stomach workouts to tone your muscles and lose fat at the same time.
Here are a couple of tips on foods that burn fat.
- Switch to Organic. Buy more organic fruit and vegetables next time you go grocery shopping.
- Cut down or even better eliminate drinking alcohol and caffeinated drinks. Drink lots of green tea (it will bost your metabolism and it’s filled with antioxidants) and water.
- Do NOT eat processed foods. This means pizza and hamburgers. Instead load up on carbohydrates for energy such as oats and brown rice.
- Eat Good Fats. Fat is good for your body, but you should intake only good fats that come in fish oil, olive oil, salmon and sardines. You could also try taking a daily supplement of fish oil as well.
- Lean Protein makes you feel fuller. You can find this in cottage cheese, egg whites, fish, low fat yogurt, skinless chicken, turkey, beef, lentils and tofu.
- Include fiber in your daily diet. Fiber is important becuase it keeps your bowel movements balanced and help you feel fuller. Did you know that by simply doubling your intake of fiber you can easily lose 10 pounds a year? Fiber is found in strawberries, cereals, apples, figs, chickpeas, potatoes with skins, broccoli, brown rice, beans, and nuts.
